James Madison University is excited to be bowl bound for the second year in a row and first year officially bowl eligible as a full FBS member. Bowl season is an exciting time with many moving parts. Please utilize this landing page to review information regarding JMU football bowl game details once announced on Sunday, December 8.

Having achieved six wins, JMU is bowl eligible and guaranteed a spot in one of the bowl game matchups this season. Many factors lead into which bowl game we will be selected for so please stay tuned for an official release as to where we will be heading this bowl season on Sunday, December 8. Once the selection is made, we will be able to provide further details and logistics regarding the bowl game.

Each bowl game will provide the participating schools a specific allotment. These allotments will vary based on quantity, location, and price. Once selected JMU will work with the bowl to finalize ticket details and put them on sale to JMU fans. We encourage all JMU fans to purchase through the JMU block in order to keep JMU Nation together and loud at the game. The only way to financially support JMU is to purchase directly through the specific bowl game links provided by JMU Athletics. Note that there can be a delay between when the bowl is announced and when official JMU block tickets go on sale. We encourage everyone to please be patient and wait for official bowl game information from JMU before you purchase on other websites.

We anticipate that all bowl tickets will be mobile delivery via your smartphone. Bowl games utilize different ticket platforms or systems. Once the bowl game is announced the JMU Athletic Ticket Office will do everything it can to work with the bowl and specific ticketing provider to manage all ticketing questions. Representatives from the JMU Athletic Ticket Office will be on site at the bowl to help JMU fans navigate any issues that may arise.

Many bowl games host a myriad of festivities and events that highlight the bowl and host city. Depending on which bowl we are selected for we will update this section with all bowl game events to plan your bowl week accordingly. Once selected JMU will also evaluate potential JMU specific events in the host city to gather as JMU Nation while on the road.

Due to the complexity and quick turnaround of bowl games, at this time JMU Athletics does not plan to coordinate specific travel packages. We will provide as much information regarding travel as we can once the bowl game is announced. In the event travel packages are coordinated we will update this information and provide those details as soon as possible.
