We anticipate a high demand for 2025 JMU Football season tickets, after having sold out for the previous two seasons. The season ticket renewal and Entry Process window has closed, and if we are to sell out again in 2025,the only way to access Family Weekend or other games would be through purchasing single game tickets.
We strongly suggest that you purchase Family Weekend football tickets as soon as they go on sale. Last year single game tickets for Family Weekend sold out in just over 48 hours from the public on sale date in early July.
Become a Duke Club Member at a minimum of $75 and you will be able to get access to football single game tickets a week earlier than the general public starting at noon on June 30, 2025. Although joining the Duke Club provides the best opportunity for early access to tickets for Family Weekend, tickets are not guaranteed and still need to be purchased.
If inventory is remaining after the Duke Club presale the general public on sale will start at 9am on July 7.
If you wish to sit with your student during the game, you will need to purchase a General Admission ticket. The general admission sections serve as both GA and student sections during the game and you will be able to sit together. These sections are first come first served meaning that if you have a large group please enter the stadium early and find seats together.
Student tickets are free and they can be claimed the Tuesday two weeks before any home game for general students and if your student is a Student Duke Club member they enjoy 24-hour early access. Please refer to our student ticket website for more information.
Yes, we have a high demand for our free student tickets and we do sell out of that allotment for multiple games a year, especially during Family Weekend. There is a chance that a family purchases single game tickets but their child is not able to secure their free ticket during the student on sale.
We encourage your student to stay on top of ticket releases and understand the selection process so that they are prepared. Becoming a Student Duke Club member will help get early access to tickets. Families can also buy extra GA tickets for their student but they cannot claim their student’s free ticket for them.
Although there are many safe ways to purchase tickets on the secondary market, we encourage people to be extra cautious. There are unfortunately many entities who utilize popular game weekends to make money or scam fans. Some of these scams are from bots and may never have tickets to sell in the first place.
Our preferred secondary ticket partner is SeatGeek and purchases made on this site have a greater ability to be verified through our internal systems. Tickets on other sites or directly from fans would not be able to be verified and could cause you to not be able to enter the game. Call the ticket office if you have any further questions regarding secondary market safe practices.
JMU Athletics is not responsible for any tickets purchased on the secondary market and we advise you to work through the reseller or your bank if you believe any tickets, you purchased could be a scam.
JMU Athletics and the Duke Club host a premier event on Friday September 26. This event is called Friday Night Flights which is a beer and wine tasting on the field and under the lights of Bridgeforth Stadium. Come enjoy a unique experience and set foot on the field that the football game will take place on the next day. Further information and ticket links will be provided when that event officially goes on sale.
At this time, all single game reserved parking is sold out. General parking options can be found here.
