James Madison University is excited to be bowl bound for the second year in a row and first year officially bowl eligible as a full FBS member. Bowl season is an exciting time with many moving parts. Please utilize this landing page to review information regarding JMU football bowl game details.

JMU Ticket Allotment:
JMU is excited to be heading to the Boca Raton Bowl Game! The bowl will provide the participating schools a specific allotment. These allotments will vary based on quantity, location, and price. We encourage all JMU fans to purchase through the JMU block to keep JMU Nation together and loud at the game. The only way to financially support JMU and meet our bowl revenue requirement is to purchase directly through the specific bowl game links provided by JMU Athletics. The outline of how the JMU ticketing process will work is below.
JMU Ticket Purchase Process:
Duke Club Priority Process:
- JMU has identified a few hundred tickets within our full JMU allotment as the best sections provided by the bowl. These tickets are the closest to midfield in sections 126, 127, 128 and will cost $65 plus fees. In order to be considered for these sections you must go through the Duke Club priority process and place your request through this link.
- This request will operate like away game football tickets, which are set up on a deferred payment plan and payments are not processed until after tickets are assigned.
- The deadline for these priority seats will be Monday December 9, 2024 at 12pm EST. All requests will need to be in before that deadline to be considered for the Duke Club priority process.
- Once the deadline has passed all requested donors will be ranked based on their Duke Club Priority Points as of Monday December 9, and fans will be seated in the allotment accordingly.
- Order limits for this process will be in place based on your Duke Club current year Proud and True giving level. After the deadline fans will receive a communication notifying them if they did or did not receive tickets within this priority process. This notification will come no later than 5pm on Monday December 9, 2024 and If you received tickets, the card on file will be charged.
General JMU Allotment Bowl Link Purchase Process:
- If you choose not to participate in the priority process or would like to purchase ticket quantities beyond your giving level limits there will be a general bowl ticket link within the JMU fan sections that you can purchase through after the priority process is complete. This link is first come first serve via a pick your own seat map and ticket limits do not apply. We hope to have this ticket link available to all fans shortly after the priority process is completed and the remaining inventory is set. You can find the exclusive link for our JMU allotment here.
Ticket Delivery/Platform: (Ticketmaster)
All purchased bowl tickets will be mobile delivery via your smartphone. The Boca Raton Bowl utilizes the Ticketmaster platform which is different than the JMU ticketing platform and will require slightly different processes than you may be used to for a JMU home game. Tickets requested through the priority process will be delivered no later than Friday December 13, 2024. Tickets that are purchased through the general JMU bowl link would receive those via Ticketmaster directly following the transaction. Representatives from the JMU Athletic Ticket Office will be on site at the bowl to help JMU fans navigate any issues that may arise.
Travel Packages:
Due to the complexity and quick turnaround of bowl games, JMU Athletics will not coordinate specific travel packages. We will provide as much information regarding travel as we can once the bowl game is announced.

Join the MRDs, JMU Cheerleading and the JMU Dukettes for an evening of fun! The WKU Band and Spirit Squad will also be present. Hear from the Boca Raton Mayor and City Council members and your Director of Athletics, Matt Roan! There will be various food vendors around the Amphitheater for fans to purchase food and beverages! The event is FREE and open to the public, so help us paint Mizner Park purple!

Fan Fest and Family Midway near Gate 1 - FAU Stadium
Tickets $35 per person (+$5 fee) until early bird pricing ends on Saturday Dec. 14 at midnight - Purchase now!
Located in the heart of all the game day fun is the JMU Tailgate! Have a front row seat to all the action at the Fan Fest, including cheering on the team, spirit squad and MRDs as they enter the stadium. Our tailgate tent is next to the live music and ESPN tent. Fan Fest and Family Midway, located outside FAU Stadium at the corner of N. University Dr. and FAU Boulevard near Gate 1. Tickets to this event include hamburgers, hot dogs, black bean burgers, mac n' cheese, chips, potato salad, assorted Coca Cola products and water. Alcohol for purchase. The ticket will also include various exclusive gifts from the Office of Alumni Relations and the Duke Club. Tickets are $35 until Saturday, December 14 at midnight. After that date, ticket prices increase by $10. Each ticket does include a $5 processing fee.
